  • We are seeking a Temporary Corporate Accountant on a 3-month fixed-term contract to be based in our UK office. The purpose of the role is to support the implementation and stabilisation of Tagetik as our Group management consolidation and reporting solution.

    This role is offered initially as a 3-month fixed-term contract, with potential for extension including towards a. permanent position depending on business requirements and the fit of the successful candidate. Hybrid working but with minimum 3 days working from the Sheffield office.

    The successful candidate will help ensure that data loaded into the system is fully reconciled back to historic financial statements and existing consolidations, support the design of month-end reporting outputs within the system, and help establish the processes, controls and training needed for effective global use. This role requires strong knowledge of group consolidation, intercompany accounting, investment eliminations, and group reporting systems, ideally including Tagetik or a similar consolidation platform.


  • Tagetik implementation and reconciliation
    • Support the implementation and practical rollout of Tagetik as the Group management consolidation solution.
    • Reconcile data loaded into Tagetik back to existing financial statements, consolidation files and legacy reporting outputs.
    • Validate the integrity and completeness of trial balance, intercompany, investment and consolidation adjustment data within the system.
    • Investigate and resolve reconciliation differences between Tagetik outputs and historic Group reporting.
    Group consolidation and reporting
    • Support the consolidation of Group financial information, including trial balances, intercompany balances, investments and consolidation adjustments.
    • Ensure the system supports accurate and consistent Group reporting across all entities.
    • Assist in producing reliable consolidated outputs for management reporting and month-end review.
    • Work closely with Group Finance to ensure reporting requirements are correctly reflected in the consolidation model.
    Report design and month-end pack development
    • Design and build the required financial reports within Tagetik for inclusion in the month-end reporting packs.
    • Test report outputs to ensure consistency, accuracy and usability.
    • Refine report layouts and logic so that month-end reporting can be delivered efficiently through the new system.
    Process development and controls
    • Create clear processes, procedures and supporting documentation for the ongoing use of Tagetik.
    • Help establish robust controls around data input, reconciliation, consolidation and reporting.
    • Support the transition from legacy consolidation processes to the new system-based approach.
    Stakeholder support and training
    • Work alongside the external consultancy partner supporting the Tagetik implementation.
    • Support the training of finance teams across global locations in the use of the new system and reporting processes.
    • Act as a key point of contact between Group Finance, local finance teams and implementation partners during the stabilisation period.

    • Previous experience in a Corporate Accountant, Group Accountant or similar role.
    • Strong practical understanding of group consolidation processes, including:
      • trial balance integration
      • intercompany reconciliations and eliminations
      • investment accounting/eliminations
      • consolidation adjustments
      • Group reporting
    • Experience using Tagetik; experience with a similar consolidation/reporting system would also be considered.
    • Proven experience reconciling system outputs back to historic financial statements and consolidation reports.
    • Experience designing or supporting management reporting and month-end reporting packs within a finance system.
    • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills, with high attention to detail.
    • Ability to document processes clearly and support implementation of improved finance controls.
    • Confident working with multiple stakeholders, including external consultants and international finance teams.
    • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large volumes of financial data.
    • Professional accounting qualification or equivalent relevant experience preferred (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
