Zu den Aufgaben gehören die Herstellung von Wachsmodellen an Handspritzmaschinen sowie die Durchführung von Sichtprüfungen und ggf. das Verputzen der Wachsmodelle. Darüber hinaus umfasst die Tätigkeit das Vorbereiten von Spritzwerkzeugen. Zudem gehört die Mitarbeit an der kontinuierlichen Weiterentwicklung und Verbesserung des Aufgabengebiets zu den weiteren Aufgaben.
